Born in Vancouver, Canada in 1965

Studied Biology, Resource Management, and Education at UWO,

UBC and SFU (gaining a B.Sc., M.R.M, and B.Ed.)

I fell in love with photography as a child, and received my first SLR camera as a high school graduation gift from my Dad. Largely self-taught, I did take a workshop with Freeman Patterson and the Nikon School,  then took a Continuing Education commercial photography course at BCIT. I took courses in Photoshop and graphic design through

Continuing Education at Emily Carr College of Art and Design. In 2016, I joined both Sebastian Michael's online Photoshop Artistry group and Andrei Tallent's Shift Art Summit group. I joined the Joel Grimes Photography Academy in 2018 and took a 2-day workshop with Joel in Phoenix, Arizona in October, 2019.

My first love is nature, landscape and wildlife photography. I love to capture the beauty of the world around me. More recently I've become interested in creating creative portraits and composite works by combining images using photoshop. I'm always learning new things!
